Le Picandou du Périgord

Picandou is a fresh cheese made of goat's milk. Périgord is located East of the  Bordeaux wine region. Read again this Frenchman Mag's blog about Sarlat and its surroundings. The Dordogne river, since ages has been a way for the people to trade wood and wine with Bordeaux. At the top of the cliffs, a more rugged terrain is perfect for goats to wander around producing one of the most recognizable goat cheese in France
