Un Art de Vivre –

More than twenty-five years ago, I left France for Vancouver, BC. Since then, I’ve lived as a Frenchman outside of France — carrying with me the essence of French culture while embracing the discoveries and challenges of a new land. Athlete, sailor, and eternal mover, I believe that vitality has no age limit.

In 2004, I expanded my journey into the world of storytelling by developing an acting career and founding my own production company. This path opened the door for me to become a digital creator, documenting both my physical pursuits and my film and theatre endeavours through my YouTube channel, @micheldurankeepmoving.

Through endurance sports, mountain adventures, creative work, and life aboard my sailboat Odin, I explore the world and share one message: Keep moving, always.

In our era of specialization Michel Duran features a Renaissance approach to life combining the exploration of new grounds and integrating our five senses to embrace to the fullest our professional and personal endeavours.
Refined, curious, feminist, daring, he can take the same pleasure in pushing its limits competing in an Ironman, savouring an aged Rhum Agricole in the Caribbean or dining on a raclette cheese en route to the Haute Route ski Traverse between Chamonix, France and Zermatt, Switzerland.
He is a former baby of the sixties and seventies and grew up with parents who had witnessed the civil rights movement, the rise of feminism and of equal rights for LGBTQ+ people. The direct consequences are an openness to new ways to live, to embrace new cultures, to value both feminine and masculine sides.
